Keyword Stuffing – in plain English

How often do you see a site that just doesn’t read well. Something like: “John’s cheap Essex second hand cars have the best cheap second hand cars in Essex. Contact a cheap Essex Second Hand Car Dealer now.”

A common misconception is for keyword density. People believe that it is used by search engines for relevancy and ranking. But this myth is NOT true. Good SEO is all about well written, coherent copy that is clearly NOT spammy in any way, shape or form.

If you follow the simple formula of “If it makes sense to people, it will make sense to search engines” then you are on the right track. The value from an extra 10 repetitions of your keyword on the page is worth a lot less than earning one good editorial link from a credible site.
